Erin's Background

Forever inspired by my favorite book, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, my journey with plants began at birth when my stars lined up with a Taurus moon. 

I found my passion for plants when teaching kids the indigenous uses of our native plants in my home state of Ohio. I was struck with awe of how medicinal, useful and powerful plants are! With this realization, I pursued horticulture academically and grew my career. 

Now, 27 years later, I am happy to share my journey by providing educational experiences at my farm and yours. I can guarantee the experiences I have had can save you time, money and frustration in the garden or on the farm.

I recently completed an amazing 9-month program with author and agroecologist, Nicole Masters of Integrity Soils Inc.  Nicole and her team designed this transformative program called CREATE to train professionals already in the field in becoming soil health experts and coaches for farmers on their regenerative journey. 

With the tools I have acquired and those still unseen, I wish to co-create experiences with communities rooted in solutions and building resilience throughout my bioregion and beyond.  Ultimately, I would like to inspire and empower others to create diverse plantings, gardens and farmscapes for the love of people and planet!
